Tabyabaşı Balık’s design reimagines the spirit of Ordu’s historic Taşbaşı neighborhood with a new construction that honors the region’s rich heritage. Built on the site of a former structure, the project integrates modern design principles while staying true to the Black Sea’s architectural traditions.
The exterior facade, crafted from locally sourced stone, reflects the natural beauty of the region and anchors the building in its cultural context. Regional artisans and local labor were instrumental in shaping the facade, showcasing their expertise through precise stonework and attention to detail.
Tabyabaşı Balık stands as a modern tribute to Ordu’s heritage, blending tradition, community, and craftsmanship into a memorable dining destination.
The building’s original stone facade and architectural details were meticulously restored, maintaining the historical significance of the structure while introducing modern comforts.
Inspired by the serene beauty of the Black Sea, the interior palette features natural wood tones, soft blues, and coastal textures. Custom lighting and thoughtful spatial planning ensure an intimate yet vibrant ambiance.
The design maximizes the restaurant’s proximity to the sea, with a seamless transition from indoor dining to an expansive terrace offering breathtaking coastal views.
